While quite a few BTC members use the Xmas and January period to head off on their annual holidays, many members choose to stay around town during this busy time.
As in previous years, BTC will once again be running it’s January Summer Series Pennant for those members that would like a pre-arranged game or evening of tennis – without the restriction of having to play regularly. This pennant is especially useful for playing a little tennis over January while Brett is away on holidays – in a time that would otherwise be difficult to find a game.
Interested members need only be available for one night in two out of the first three weeks of January, and can choose the actual nights they would like to play. Teams will consist of two players, with 4 singles matches and one doubles match – all played off handicap – being played each night.
The Summer Series Pennant has been a terrific success in previous years, and 2010 should be no different. A sign up sheet is now displayed in the Clubrooms – but interested members can call Brett at the Club or use the link below to display an interest.
