This is the most ambitious and one of the most prestigious competitions on the calendar. It runs across the whole year and every BTC member participates in it off handicap. The final this year was between Wendy Whitehead who had beaten Greg Henderson in the semis 3/6 6/2 6/5 and Liam Stringer who beat Ben Jolly 6/3 6/3. Wendy takes out the Final 6/4 6/4 in a meritorious effort. This is Wendy’s second win having done so in 2002 and she joins Sue Crocker and John Zulic as the only players to have won it twice. Well done Wendy … you are officially a legend.
