Members of Australia’s Cockram Cup Team (over 50’s) organised a practice session at BTC on Saturday and Sunday August 15-16. Wayne Spring and David Parker of BTC were joined by Graeme and Ian Bradfield of HRTC, Ian Bull and Richard Hince of RMTC and Julian Snow (RMTC) who helped out for the weekend. Sails on the Lake organised some afternoon tea, lunches and dinner on the Saturday night to keep energy levels up for the boys during their practice sessions – but the numerous bottles of red wine that flowed on the Saturday night provided the usual Sunday morning hurdle for the team to have to jump over. The team is expected to play in the UK early in 2010. We all wish them the best!
